Sold out online and oos in most stores. This is one of those loss leaders where they will try to get you to buy something else. These will be $125 by summer as the new models roll out. Still a great little GPS though.

...especially since it would be very helpful to already have the GPS to find the store 200+ miles away Wink

Sold out already? Gee I wonder why CUSA is closing half of their stores.

I also wonder when the other half will close.

I tried to order one online within the first minute that the price dropped to $150 (1am ET), and by the time I finished entering my credit card info, the site said there was insufficient quantity to fill my order (of 1).

Supposedly the new maps are coming out soon, and they will charge for map upgrades, so maybe it makes sense to wait anyway. And, apparently the battery life is only 4 hours on a charge, and I wanted to use it for a 10 hour bus trip, so I would have had to rig up some sort of external power source. It would also have been nice to use the MP3 player feature on the trip (or actually I would have used WMA, with some additional player software added to the unit).

CompUSA is closing a lot of their stores (All stores in Massachusetts!). Just inventory clean up I guess.

The nearest CompUSA to me are closing down, and the Mio is $299 - 10% "clearance". They say that because they're closing, they're not part of the anniversary sale. Even though the online flyer shows it at $150 for my zip code.

And they wonder why they're going out of business slowly? Screw 'em.
