I finally purchased this yesterday at Circuit City. I pricematched it because CC was closer. It's available this week at Staples for $230, but when I went to PM there, they only had the C310, not the C310X.
Pretty good system for $198. It's also an MP3, but that's not why I bought it. It's about the size of a Palm/Blackberry and easy to move around from car to car.This is hackable to where you can display videos and add maps.
This is a great alternative to the installed versions that are 5 times the price.
bought this last week from Frys.com, awasome little device! You can hack it to play DivX with TCPMP, you can use the WINCE functions with more utilities, and you can configure and add features within the GPS function itself. All for around $200!
Cons: The battery life is a little weak. wish it can last at least 4-5hrs.
Note: Most people reported they didn't get the ac adapter, but mine did from frys.com. But it wasn't listed on the box, or their website.
One more thing.. if your address is not on the map, don't sweat it. Just use Google Earth to find the lat/longtitude, and add it on your POI (points of interest). Very easy. I think the file to hack is iGO.db.
The newer units do not come with AC adaptors, but I have discovered that many Motorola AC adaptors (cellphone bluetooth) will work just fine. Just don't try charging your Motorola phone with the auto adaptor because it won't work.

If it doesn't have Canada maps, it's the 310x. You can download Canada maps online in addition to many other hacks (UK English Female voice, Video player, etc.). Either delete Guam, Alaska, etc., to make room for Canada, as I did, or add an SD card, which I also did (for MP3, etc.)
SN - Where did you get the staples $30 coupon? All I see is a $15.
How to upgrade the US Map? Because around my city area, there have been so many new streets pop up, due to the new home developments.
