Staples.com has the Mio DigiWalker C310x Portable Car Navigation System for $200 + $0 shipping = $200 shipped. It was available for $150 on Black Friday, but that price is long gone. [BizRate]

      poor ben...
      is he getting forgetful?
this was $150 at compusa only 2 weeks ago! (march 18th)
With the way that the prices are dropping on these things, I do not think $200 is any bargain. (any more)

maybe I shouldnt talk, I bought it for $250 before xmas.
right now the bargain would be this for $150 or the tomtom one for $250

i hear this shiet has old maps and bad directions, no text to speech, blah-blah-blah. just get the Garmin Nuvi at Fryes for $150 more. I hate hearing people who buy things and then wish it did more, just pay the extra money and quit your griping.

This device has awesome reviews in previous posts (its on here about once a week) - it's very hackable and i think a map update is due out soon. #1, if you can find a 20 off 100 coupon, then this makes it an awesome deal .. although tax was about 12 bucks for me.

go on ebay and buy a $30 off $150 for staples.com. It will cost you around $4 for a total of $26 extra off.

#2 I hate people who buy over-priced things and then have to justify it with griping.

For the price is the best think what is on market. It is true, you can buy better gps for more money, but for 200 bucks this is the best offer on the market. agree with #3 and #5
Show me better gps for 200 bucks !!!!

if you are suggesting people should just pay more, why are you at ben's BARGAINS?

If you do not like people "griping" why are you reading and writing in the discuss area?

I certainly was not "griping" about this unit, I like it very much.

I do not think having a unit being able to speak "turn left on main street"
instead of make the next left, is very important. The text-to-speach feature is expensive.

You could still look at the map and see that that street is labeled main on the map, if you want to know the name of the street. Besides most street signs are tiny and hard to read from a moving car or when you are in the fast lane.

One impressive thing about this unit is that I found the canada maps online and put them on the SD card and put it in the unit. when I turned on the unit, it found the new map and integrated it! now I have canada maps and I didnt even have to hack it. Damn fine unit IMO.
