These actually aren't bad but I like the Klipsch Quintet series better. Either way you'll need a subwoofer.
I like the angle idea and it seems that it would help produce some good sound at the right area of where most put speakers who don't have them mounted up like you should... but Ive only seen them in places where its way to crowded to get a good idea on how clear they are. on the pointless side they do look nice on the shelf but they are speakers thats only 5% of it the other 95% is how they function!
Mirage makes some great surround sound speakers. I enjoy mine very much and aren't as susceptible to placement as other speakers are because of their design. And @ $250, this is practically a steal considering they sell for ~100/piece.
If you're an audiophile, grab these and a sub. If not, spend this much on a half-decent set W/ a sub.
these are a good mid budget choice. I have them for the living room and they work great. get the package with the subwoofer from another retailer, as youll spendmore going piecemeal. Dont buy the mirage speaker stands though, they are junk for $80.
