Amazon with CozyBuyer has the MK802 A10 Cortex-A8 Android 4.0 Mini TV Player for $33 + $0 shipping = $33 shipped. Upgrade your TV to play content from YouTube or download apps.
These things are pretty amazing for the price, but there's really nothing to do with Android on your TV. The UI has gone through exactly no changes to turn it from a phone into an entertainment center. There is no software available to make up for this, every video player app is a sad mix of incomplete support for formats, acceleration, and sources. Other entertainment sources like Hulu simply refuse to run on unanointed hardware.
Good for netflix and some games. Local files that I've tried play okay. To me, it's better than a Roku or WD Live but definitely no sub for a real HTPC.
Oh, BTW, F Hulu. I gave up on them when they decided it was okay to start a pay service and still include adverts.

Yeah - this is more of a wannabe-hacker toy if anything
Yeah it's garbage. Wait for version 100
This would go well with it.
