in theory this sounds good, but I doubt its actually great to work with for more than a few minutes.

I have one. And I've used it for much longer than a few minutes without noticing any sort of shortcoming. I travel for a living and dislike lugging around a mouse (even laptop size). But I wouldn't be without this one. And at this price, it's a steal.
great price and awesome to have it just stowed in your laptop when you're on the go. i used to cary around an old mx logitech for travelling
