WireFly has the Motorola Droid Android Smartphone on sale (price not shown at their request) with free shipping. The Droid is Verizon's first Google Android smartphone and looks to be a strong iPhone competitor.

This phone is falling apart on me and Verizon won't replace it; I bought it less that 3 weeks ago.

I wish the plans are cheaper... they are too expensive (data plans)... remember the days when Sprint had $15 all you can data plan? we need that back!

I've really enjoyed reading the user forums for the Droid:

      http://www.droidforums.net/
      http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid/
      https://supportforums.motorola.com/community/google-android/droid?view=discussions

But watch out for that Motorola site...some serious unhappy/disturbed/angry people there. I've also noticed, as the new firmware rolls out that owners are going ABSOLUTELY BERZERK..."where's my firmware, WHERE'S MY FIRMWARE?!" It's embarrassing to watch.

Finally, methinks a troll lurks among us. Any self-respecting Verizon customer knows that there is a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy. Last I checked, 3 weeks = 21 days.

Last time I checked Dell SB had it for around $120. I have never used them for phones before, but dell has been great for me otherwise. By the way their system looks exactly like WireFly...

There is a great thread on one of the forums I listed above...droidforums, I think...that includes a long discussion (3 pages) of Wirefly. The gist is (1) the apparently were bought and reorganized in 2007, and (2) their parent company pretty much owns the online marketplace. That means that Dell, Sears, and lots of other places are basically offering their name and webspace to Wirefly's parent. Kind of a consignment model.

What's interesting about the thread is that it starts by flaming Wirefly, and then a service rep shows up and starts to help all the forum members with their problems. Good PR job.

Just got mine from Verizon online. (delivered tomorrow, can't wait). I didn't like that I could not confirm that my plan would remain the same through Wirefly so I paid $20 to get a better buying experience through the Verizon site.

Anyone have a great BT to recommend? I'll try my three or four old ones and hopefully have a winner.

Love my G1. Would like to try droid but never will because it's Verizon's. Android OS rocks.
