Droid X owners will pay an additional $20 a month for the hotspot feature (for 2GB) - thanks Verizon for another bargain Sad

Sweet, the phone for the same price as the monthly fee and for that I get another glowing screen to stare at. Work PC, home PC, laptop, netbook and two flat screens. Add the Droid X and I no longer need Mr. Sun!

These mega-sized phones are getting ridiculous. A guy at work has the new Evo, which I believe is comparable in size to this phone, and jesus - why would you want to carry that thing around all day? Like #1 said, it's like a mini iPad.

The phone makers want your phone to replace your PC, laptop, netbook, etc. Surveys show that that is happening for many.

very nice phone. I would give up my iphone 4 in a hearbeat for one of these. They are no longer just phones, people use them to watch movies and play games too. that big screen is a huge bonus.

Love mine too. I got it on Monday. Yes, it's big, but it is a mini--PC as well as a great phone. It's smokin' fast, has all the nifty "pinch-to-zoom" stuff and Swype texting, which actually works very well. It's a lot of fun. I miss some features of my Blackberry, but I'm really enjoying having moved to a touch-screen. I'm a little worried about that big screen, though, in terms of scratches and breaks.

Err, whoever-is-posting-under-the-name-of-Ben, the latest and greatest Android phone is the HTC Evo 4G. And I got it cheaper (instrument cost wise and plan-cost-wise) than this daylight robbery.

have seen the screen on the droid x. in my honest opinion, the screen size is nice but the display looks washed out. overly bright. htc has a better display with the hd2 and evo 4g. but what tops them all, is the samsung galaxy s phone with their super amoled

I have an EVO and it's great but I really miss having a physical keyboard; especially since, as mentioned above, these are mini-PCs. Swype is great and all but every time that you launch the keyboard half of your screen real-estate goes *POOF*.
