Update: Requires the Motorola HomeSight monitoring system (sold separately).
eBay with All4Cellular has the Motorola HomeSight HMVC3050 Wireless Day Night Home Security Camera for $15 with free shipping. Features a motion sensor, adjustable pitch and rotation, and sends video with sounds and still images.
I got a Foscam as well 8910w and what a piece of trash. Frame rate unusable, worthless as a security (person has to stand still 5 ft from the camera to actually be able to use it as a mugshot, audio spotty). Looking for a reasonably priced better alternative. HD IP cam with POE?
^ You're going the wrong direction. If you want "reasonably priced" with decent framerate you have to go lower in resolution rather than higher, though the sensor and lens matters more than resolution once you get past a certain point.
You need to purchase a base unit to use this. Amazon reviews are negative. One "event" every 5 minutes when it detects motion. Limited visual range.
ya. reviews are not that good...
i got a Foscam works very well but it cost $80 which is the lowest price i have seen.
