I am not fond of the RAZR as it has had many problems with the hinges from the folks that I know that have one.

Probably one of the worst phones I've used. The interface lagged, the battery life was terrible, and I never could tell what the fuss was about.

I agree with #7, this is the best phone I have ever owned, with one caveat. There were definitely problems with the early release of the V3. Motorola owned up to the problem and for a "limited time" offered free replacement, including shipping to owners that registered the phone. I know several people that didn't bother to return their phone, or even register it, but hey, that's their problem if they got stuck with it. The V3's that you buy now (refurbished included) are excellent. AT&T was, and I think still is selling the factory refurbished unlocked V3 for $55 as well. I bought one for a spare and it arrived PERFECT. There is no way you can tell it from new. It works GREAT. If you go to AT&T's site, look under the refub section under their Prepaid Phones, NOT their contract required phones which are in the same section

#9 If you open and close your phone like an ape or play Capt. Kirk on Star Trek and flip it open sure its going break

After owning this phone I can say I never had a problem with the hinge.

Have a Moto e815 from 3+ years ago... still going strong no problems.

In fact, I went in to Verizon looking to upgrade to a flip with a 3MP camera but all they had was MP3 player/texting oriented crap....or touch screen models.
And it looks like the '09 Motos are more touch screen models...
