    The band is made of rubber. I would think paying $350 would get you more. Is the band replaceable?

    nice watch. I would buy it if I had the money. I like the rubber strap. Doesn't stink like leather after a while, and not heavy like metal links.

    Rubber actually lasts a lot more than leather. It is more resistant to sweating etc.

    ^ Leather simply needs treated with either a water repellant, oil, or even plain shoe polish (use clear color if it rubbing off on something is a concern) or petroleum jelly, just like most leather goods do for long lifespan.

    However I buy a watch with the assumption that if it's not a cheapie (under $30) that i'll be buying a replacement band for it at some point if it's not metal, so with that in mind I choose watches that use a standard band rather than some funky difficult to find curved or raised shape.
