Buying from an expensive item from ebay. Sure recipe for getting ripped off.

      I'll second that #1!

Also, the Intel T3000 processor is a celeron...

Its just not worth it for the risk...and the price isn't that good when you compare it to some of the other Black Friday / Cyber Monday ads.

This is $320 in-store at Office Depot SKU:585918 through Saturday. It's in the weekly ad. Great laptop, I'm using it right now. The dual-core 45nm celeron is surprisingly fast, and there are lots of options for overclocking or swapping in a faster cpu.

The Office Depot price would be a
      Knock Knock.
      Who's there?
      Bacon.
      Bacon who?
deal, BUT alas real situation appears to be more of a "bait and switch" -- great price but no inventory.
I called around Office Depot here in Silicon Valley and no one has any inventory for this, except for one display/demo model. Save the gas for checking out in-store special, it ain't there.

Jzsmart, you're right, there're hard to find. The office depot site seems pretty good about showing availability. They started out with 3 per store on Sunday and sold quick. From what I've heard, some stores will be getting more in today or Friday. Might be worth checking the site occasionally or calling around. Out of the box, you'll want to update the nForce motherboard drivers. Here's a link

I've been using it since Sunday and have had no issues.
