Newegg has the MSI N650 PE 1GD5/OC GeForce GTX 650 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card for $130 - $30 rebate [Exp 11/30] = $100 with free shipping. Includes a free game coupon for Assasin's Creed III. Boasts quiet operation (16.8 dB) and a factory overclocked core frequency of 1124MHz.
It was cheaper at tiger direct however that deal is gone. This video card is a good midrange video card. I would peg it around the same at the 550ti I own that model and it works fine.
This isn't a bad price (although that $30 rebate!) or card for the 1680x crowd, and those how will to OC it get decent gains. Stock it is above the reference 7750 that has no 6-pin, while can't ward off the 7770 as is. With some 7750 now spec'ing 900Mhz and using a 6-Pin, we could see some good price struggle in the coming weeks.
While shown to be quiet on stock single fan, I'd like to know if those OC’s subject on heat-rise on single fan, while what the dual fan penalize in dBA Here’s another review but not worth much as they didn’t test anything close. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/msi_gtx650_pe/2.htm
Good question... That's the SE version so cut-back more (48 less shaders and 192bit bus vs 256bit bus) from a regular (non-Ti). Most put it above the GTX 550Ti close to a GTX 460 1Gb... wroth it? If we say the GTX560 SE was about a 6850 @1680x you'll see it would provide 22-27% more than this MSI today.. so not bad. Or, slightly above 7770. The down side... power draw will be high and performance/watt is out-of-bound to any newer 28Nm part. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_650_Power_Edition/27.html
Is this a good deal. I don't care about the gaming credits. I am a casual gamer only.
Not a bad deal, that game is worth around 30'ish on FleaBay.

I would recommend adding another $40 and get the GTX 650 Ti at TigerDirect. Better hurry!

This card or the ECS NGTX560SE-1GPLI-F GeForce GTX 560 SE, which is better?
Had to sort the Power Edition Cyclone radial cooler, from this "TransTermal Design"... Presto-Chang-O sliding conversion dual fan but here's a couple.

Tiger Direct has the Sapphire 7770 OC (1050Mhz) for $110 -AR $20 w/FS
Has a nice Heat-pipe cooler, that should permit 1200MHz on the core just shy 1.4 GHz on the memory

thanks Casecutter. I'm going to wait for a better deal as you suggested that the price struggle is around the corner.
