The price feels good because 6450's have marched-up in price, but with that fan and $25 rebate? Although, as member zzyzx has pointed out previously, there's a "no-wait option" for $2 less, so that take out a bunch of risk.

A Sapphire Passive cooler working a $10 rebate is $32 w/FS is about the best trade-off, but that means doubling down.

I'd get what you really want in this class of card, because this segment will continue to dwindle and pricing march-up. Neither AMD/NVidia will be supporting or spinning anything with new GPU architecture, theyll both be renaming old dies or make you move to higher price points.

That's because youre using newer machine than people need this.
If people using like Xpress200 or HD3200 on board this worth a lot.

    #2 - While too a point... I agree!
However, there are many folks in SFF enclosures and low Watt PSU’s. This is what they look to as bump up to over GMA2000/3000, or H61 mobo that only had VGA (OEM’s). What else would they buy? A GT 520 that's not as efficient (more power) for maybe a slight bump in performance... not that seat of pant could notice. For half height cards that are passive and dual slot and most often priced higher.

But to be appear objective there's this Gigabyte GT520; it's half-height and low profile, although with a fan. It's $28 after working a $20 rebate and the $3 shipping.

Geeks has a OEM Nvidia GT 240 1GB DDR5, half height, dual slot with a fan for $35. An odd heat sink fan, but it's definitely a great little card best thing for those with SFF and at least 300W.
