I got the MSI 4350 from Newegg last week, it's giving me major HDMI handshake problems on my HTPC, I never had any trouble with handshake using the integrated graphics on the Mobo (780G, also ATI, go figure). I've had to RMA it and am trying an Nvidia card. Don't know if this card has the same problems, but my research showed handshake problems with ATI card so HTPC users beware.

Maybe with the H1N1 outbreak it does not feel safe shaking hands?

I got the MSI 4350 for $20 AR with free hdmi cable from newegg and it works flawlessly with a win7 htpc. Full 5.1 or 7.1 sound.

#2, one poster at AVS forum reported the handshaking problem got solved with the latest Catalyst v9.11.

#5, what's the version of your Catalyst?
