Laptop camera... can't legally bring into many courthouses. For a feature I'd never use, that's a pretty big minus.

#1 - do they still ban phones with cameras? Blackberry still makes some models without cameras for that reason.

yes, but for the other 99% of us, having a camera in a laptop is an occasional large plus. With 1hr's work, I'm sure you could remove the camera and sell it on ebay anyway.
