Lot of different MSI Wind models. I don't know why so many. I want a white one I think. J&R sells the U100-451US model for $299 shipped.

Great machine that's still competitive a faull year after release against the bigger named brands. RAM's upgradeable to 2gb. I've also upgraded to an Intel Wifi N card. WoW runs just fine on all the lowest settings.

The asus 1000HA has been at this price range from time to time, that's a better machine than this in my opinion

Hmm... good question. Let's see. The title is "MSI Wind U100-641US 10" Notebook".. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say the maker is "MSI".

I've bought Acer, Asus, Lenovo, so far I'm using Asus 10" netbook, but will sell it soon after compare the cons and pros of them. I will buy a Wind soon to make sure which one is the best. I even can write a long review

i got the Wind with wireless N, 6 cell, 160GB for $330 last month and LOVE it. setup OS X dual boot to XP and everything works wonderfully. upgraded with a $70 400GB drive and $15 ram upgrade to 2GB this has become my fav computer (of 6 i use). theres tons of support for the OS X hack if thats what ur into. but the XP side runs great too.

The touchpad on the MSI wind is a bit touchy; maybe they've improved that since last year's model.

Great price, but I agree with #3, multi-processor cores make a big impact if you frequently have multiple programs open and running.

This is a great machine. I also have the dual-boot with xp and osx86. Works great. I got a 9 cell battery and it last 6 hours or so. Black looks good but a finger print magnet on the outside. Also, it tends to tip over easy. So be careful.
