Meritline has the Mygica US165 USB to DVI DisplayLink Graphics Adapter with HDMI and VGA Adapters for $50 - $20 off with coupon code MLCK604MNL1 [200 uses] = $30 with free shipping. Features 1920x1080p resolution, supports mirroring or extending, and can connect up to 6 graphics adapters simultaneously.
I have a couple of these, and they are great. Useful for testing DVI monitors if your laptop only has VGA output, for instance. Running quad-head on a laptop is a lifesaver when your spreadsheet needs 4000 pixels worth of horizontal crap visible at once, too.
This is a smokin' price, but I figure they're clearing out stock because the USB3 version will be along soon. The USB2 is NOT FOR GAMING or video, but great for thinks like office apps, chat, presentations, etc.
DisplayLink has Linux and Mac OSX drivers, too. So instead of trying to figure out what perversion of a display connector Apple is using on their latest portables, just keep one of these in the bag with the projector. When some FruitDouche shows up to give a presentation but "forgot" his VGA adapter, you'll be good.
