Frys.com has the MyGuide 3050 Portable Navigation GPS System for $200 + shipping. Includes MyGuide 6.0 Software and 1GB SD Card with US and Canada maps. The 3.5 Digital TFT LCD runs at 320x240 pixels. The MyGuide site has info on similar (but not this exact) models. [BizRate]

    This is also with SIRF chip as Mio , also has Mp3. It has myguide maps. I don't know how those compares with Teleatlas(Mio) and nabteq (Garmin)

    The Mio has the maps built-in, not on the SD card. Plus it's completely hackable with new skins, maps (TomTom, iGuidance) etc. and runs the same price at Staples or Circuit City. Google it, it's a cult item....

    I have this unit and am very pleased. It uses the IGO software and it's excellent.

    Cons: I've occasionally, but rarely, lost the gps signal for several minutes and it doesn't always choose what I'd expect to be the optimal route.

    Pros: But it has ALWAYS gotten me where I wanted to go. And to me that's the bottom line.
