NO, they did not file for bankruptcy. They are a European company that decided to leave the S market, for now.
Navigon will "definitely" support existing customers, and
PCMAg.com GPS analyst Craig Ellison said he was told that
this will include existing maps subscriptions.
So it's not like they are just screwing everyone over who owns one of their products. And they may try re-entering the market later too.
That being said this isn't one of their better devices. Adequate, but nothing stellar either.
Be aware that these gps devices may no longer work soon because the whole gps system could soon break down within a year or less.
