I've been looking for a GPS/Nav unit for the car - what is a good brand?
Stick with TomTom and Garmin. They're very good.
What about Magellan?
I've been surprised at how well Navigons work as well!
where are u from #4, i live in MA and it is HORRIBLE. My garmin and magellen are night and day better.
I just used my 2100 from Michigan to Florida and back, worked great for me.
damn these are so cheap now. I paid $180 for a Mio C210 2 years ago.
i would recommend using igo8. check out http://www.igo8navigation.com/
There are lots of skins available for igo8 software. Navngo made igo8 script based so people can develop their own design. There are some excellent developers out there adding new features to igo8.
