      Yes!
The Real Time traffic is a great feature. It lists known traffic issues in the area. I live in the D/FW area and on my way to work and home, if there is slow traffic ahead on my route, I am notified about it well before I get to it. It lists the known starting point of the backup/slowness and when it ends with options to avoid the traffic or ignore it. It even tells you how long the expected slowness/backup is.

      I love this thing!

I got this with the buy.com $30 off for being approved with their Credit Card.... $120 shipped.

is this better than a Garmin in the same price range ?
Seems like you get more features for the same price with this GPS.

I like the graphical interface too. Is it as good as it looks ?

      i have the 7100
this thing does rock. UI looks great
nothing is without its shortcomings though. like the fact that it won't let you search for a POI while you're en route to somewhere, unless you search for an Interim destination.

traffic feature is good. check area coverage before you get it. i live in CT boonies but work relatively close to NYC so the closer to NYC i get the better the TMC signal or better yet, the more accurate the traffic report gets. i wish this thing had an option to ommit traffic info after X miles away from current location... right now i've seen reports come in 60+ miles from current position. it would make it easier to scroll through the traffic info. still love it though.

      Thanks #5
Does it propose to recalculate the route if it finds traffic on your itinerary ?
