This GPS can issue a speeding warning ticket? wow. LOL Will it call the cop too if you're speeding or will it just give you a ticket?
Stupid Radioshack Hide this important "Traffic service is free for the life of the unit" info all the way in the Technical spec.
Still I prefer the 2100T for $100 instead of this.
Yeah, but the navigon response rate is slow.
#1: Do you still see the 2100T available for $100 ? If so where ?
Thanks
I got 2100 on BF for $100 and I think that's a better deal than this.
Have not seen them that cheap since then.
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2884069 Tom Tom One 3rd Ed. for $149 and 20% off with paypal
Has anyone actually used these.. how's the quality??... what do u recommend??
I checked the RS site on 11/27 and the price was back to $349. Is there something I am missing or am I not looking hard enough. Was the $280 just for this past weekend? I have a 5100 and my wife has a 2100. Both of them are great! I recently bought the 5100 and wanted to bring in the into to see if Staples would do a price match on it. Over the past year I have used 5 different brands and with route planning To store a route that the GPS may not normally plot out for you or to take a trip and hit specified destinations, (Many units do not have this feature)free traffic and Zagat ratings for the life of the unit I find that, for the price, the Navigon is one of the best units and deals on the market at this time. The $100 deal on the 2100 at Staples on BF with free traffic was great. The differences between the two is that the 5100 had a much strudier mount, includes a map of Canada and comes with lifetime traffic and Zagat ratings and more memory.
Is Navigon really the only GPS that works without a subscription? Without a subscription, does anyone know if map updates are available on DVD or something???
