On Garmin, traffic is $60/year. Assuming people keep the gps for 3 yrs, this is free!!
Plus, Garmin misleads people - their "N AMerica" maps is usually the lower 48 - no Canada and a bunch of countries that constitute N America. Their marketing department can blatantly lie.

#1, you are absoluately correct. Garmin Marketing suck. I purchased one of their portable GPS based upon their claim that they have maps for Asia, but few months after the purchase I found out they only have Singapore but not anywhere else. I do not think Garmin can claim that they have maps for Asia when they only have map for only one city out of so many major cities in Asia. Why don't they claim to have map of the Universe and Milky Way?

I have a Navigon 7100 and find it to be rather good. As with any GPS you sometimes get interesting routing and the constant nagging to make a u-turn when you obviously wish to ignore the increasingly agitated female voice saying make a u-turn...make a u-turn!! NOW! You need to upgrade the maps and program to V1.2 to get rid of some of the bugs.
