I got the 2100 at staples for 99 --- seems like a decent gps.

The review of the 7100 on Cnet (based ont eh 5100) was not entirely positive. Main complaint was about the sluggish performance of the device. (Sounds like the entire family of 2100, 5100, 7100 faced such comments from the Cnet reviewer).
