For rcpts I use an old digicam with macro mode. It's quick. For other docs my phone system sends me faxes as PDF.
I'll stick with my Smith & Wesson, thank you.

This is a good scanner system. What a good idea #1. I will have to try it.
some all in one fax machines have scan ability. if this will sacn business cards and import them into say outlook then it's worth he price.

I hope people encrypt or secure the scans in someway cause this can lead to bad outcomes if the wrong person were to get a hand on these scans

#2 & #4, I thought the same thing briefly and started looking for the firearms category.
Waste of money and space, a regular flatbed scanner that you'll still want to own for all the things it does best, will do quite well at this task too. If you can't get the software to auto-crop the receipt because of the white paper vs white scanner lid background, toss a piece of black or gray paper on top or just leave the lid up.
Hmmm, hooker bookeeping. I'm in for two!
