Amazon with Amazing Deals Online has the Nebo 5581 Redline Tactical LED Flashlight for $22 with free shipping on $25+. Features 220 lumen white light output, 5 lighting modes w/ S.O.S. mode, and a 4x adjustable beam.
I bought a few inexpensive UltraFire flashlights from Hong Kong with multiple lighting modes. It's definately not the handy feature I thought it would be. Maybe if you used your flashlights in actual "tactical" scenarios you would need less than full brightness, but for everyday use, I wan't as much light as I can get. It's also a hassle having to cycle through all the modes if you accidentaly press the tailcap, switching it to a lower beam or S
^ Multi mode is more desirable to me if it has mode-memory, meaning that so long as you wait a short period of time (couple seconds or longer), when it turns back on it's in the same mode it was when turned off.
I want less than full brightness most of the time though, because I like small lights but they have battery limitations to the point where hi mode may not run more than an hour and sometimes less than that. It's not just that I always need more than an hour runtime, I also don't want to be swapping out batteries very often.
Due to the non-linear way the eye perceives brightness, a reduction in perceived brightness of less than 50% can result in swapping batteries less than 1/3rd as often. I'm able to EDC a small light so I always have it available without adding yet more bulk to my pocket to the point where it feels like I have an entire tool box in it.
220 WHAT light output? Nanobleems? wowza.

^ OTH Dave, when you're hitting on girls, I'd rather rather walk around with the bulk of a 3 D battery light in my pocket than a 1 AA.
