#20, I've had that happen too many times as well so I stopped trying DVDShrink until I run it through DVDFab first. I have also used the function that allows you to put it on a portable media device and it works well... I only did it once, though, because it took about 100 minutes to rip and convert the video. I only did it to see if it would work, but I have no use for watching videos on my Creative Zen.

The main thing I like about DVDFab is the ease of removing specific parts of the DVD through their "customize" option. I always go through and remove all the previews and anything that isn't deleted scenes or bloopers since those are the only extras I ever care to watch. The only annoying thing that you have to watch out for is DVDFab automatically removes foreign languages from the audio and subtitles. This isn't a problem for most movies, but if you watch any foreign films and can't stand the English dubbing like I can't, then you need to make sure to re-check the foreign audio so it doesn't get removed and just use the English subtitles to know what's going on.

One last little trick I do when I use DVDShrink is I do a "custom ratio" for the special features and menus to bring the quality down as low as it will go. This allows me to have the main movie be near full quality for picture and sound and a lot of times I can bring it back to 100%. I don't need to watch my deleted scenes or have the menus at high quality so it's easy to sacrifice.
