They include these disks free with OEM version of Plextor (and other brand)burner drives. The retailers sell the drives (by itself) and make a little "extra" on the side for themselves selling these disks.
Good for them. Who cares?
All the really necessary plugins expire after a time and you have to buy them separately or upgrade to Nero Premium/Ultra. Just say no to this and save yourself some aggravation.
Moreover, this does not contain the full Nero Burning ROM application, only Nero Express (which is fine for most day to day burning, but lacks some features of NBR, such as the ability to include folders besides VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS on DVDs). You're better off looking for a full copy of Nero 6 on eBay.
either get or stay with 6, 7 been nuttin' but a pain for me.
V7 works with Vista, V6 doesn't.
I've had no problems with 7, and use the rom, recode, & vision pretty heavily.
Full version cheaper as a torrent, so I've been told.
Fry's has the full Nero 7 Ultimate free after rebate through Tuesday, both in-store and online.
