Time to bust out the 3.5" floppies
Good price but I don't know if I want to play rebate roulette.
just follow their instructions and document every step of the way
I like the HP ones better.
#1, can you be more cryptic.
How reliable are the netgear rebates? Anyone actually get their rebate money back?
Yes, reliable, but ..ah...ah... takes so long.
#6 my experience with Netgear's router rebate was OK. It took them 10 weeks to get the rebate to me. The rebate check looks like a 3x5 post-card, similiar to junk mail postcards that arrives at your mailbox every week.
I used to like the Thecus systems better than Netgear, but lately I think the Netgear systems have surpassed them.
Be very careful when submitting this rebate. I just, today, resolved a multiple week dispute over a rebate on this exact item. They attempted to claim that the rebate wasn't submitted in time, when the deadline hadn't passed yet. Then they attempted to tell me that the rebate needed to be in within 30 days of purchase, which it did not. Once all that had been settled they attempted to put me on the call back next week and we'll have it fixed cycle.
I had to get mildly threatening to get a representative who had the power to fix the rebate. Now their tracking site says my rebate is coming, but we will see.
Just make sure to document everything and be very persistent. They are trying to get you to give up. They really want your money and they'll do some shady crap to try to keep it.
