Had a refurb of this once and it worked fine. They also have 5 year warranty on their new products, if I remember correct. They replaced a b router that was 4 1/2 years old.
This one is NOT the Linux version. It's not hackable at all.
Netgear sucks. hate their customer service.

I like to leave my router near my tv (cable outlet), so I prefer Routers that are darker color, like the new Linksys WRT54 (no ext antenna and black finish)... just my 2 cents on the aesthetics...
Any chance I can turn this into a bridge with DD-WRT for my Blu-Ray player?
