Actually , the meritline.com usually have airlink 300Mbps usb dongle on sale for around $10-$11( free s/h no rebate and GOOD REVIEW). I got a few from Meritone.com for myself and works well. So for $5 more you have a new/faster/no rebate/future-proof adapter- there is no reason to get this unit ( so so review + huge rebate+ refurb)

Yeah, TD is pulling a fast one here, on a refurb'd item and with a rebate, they should swallow the shipping cost to make it free after rebate, $25 out of pocket before rebate is just too high for a plain USB wifi adapter, let alone refurbished.
I have the 300 Mbps one, and it has been my most consistent performer in terms of wireless stability compared to a few generic realtek driver based ones I have around the house like the airlinks that frequently pop up on bensbargains. Was thinking of picking this up, when I saw the 20 dollar rebate. Ewww...
