I am tempted but they are refurbs.
Knowing my neighbor has one, I may pick one up and see if I can connect it to one of his external power outlets. Bricks will be shat.
#2, and then you'll plug your ethernet cable into the side of the unit and run it all the way to your house. right.
so 34 dollars for a pair of refurb. that goes up to 85Mb/s, sounds like a ok but not a great deal.
Connection quality is dependent on how your home is wired.
$34 for a powerline ethernet connection is a very good deal.
I have a pair of these that have been in use for several years. No issues.
Most homes have dual 110v circuits (because houses are typically fed by 220v 3-wire). These things work when they are on the same circuit. If one outlet in a room won't work, try another one.
