It can be fiddly to install tidily, but it works really well. I like the idea that the shutters close the power off when there's nothing plugged in to it. Now I just have a couple of USB cables lying around, rather than power adapters for bloody everything.
Totally agree with #2, it's a great product BUT it's quite big so it may be hard or even impossible to install if the box is crowded, and the faceplate must be carefully adjusted otherwise the USB outlets don't switch on. It can charge an iPad and an iPhone 4 at the same time.
Official Apple USB charging cables fit, but most aftermarket iPhone cables and generic USB cables do not fit with the sliding doors. One common hack is to break the doors off and glue the switch to always ON.
Comments on that Cooper say it doesn't put out much juice, some people say not even enough for an iPad and iPhone at the same time. Might be helpful to charge my phones on my nightstand though.
Also, nothing but a nuclear reactor will charge my Asus Transformer, so blah.
Keep in mind that it's not too tough to just cut a new hole above or below the existing one, screw a new box onto the stud and put whatever you want in it (so long as it meets code).
WHY? Only 2.5 stars, and it's $7 more than the Cooper TR7740W-K that has 4 stars.

Those doors for the USB ports can be a PITA, some USB plugs won't fit. AKA get the Cooper Wireless instead.

They're slowly catching on to my routing of DC power throughout the home.

Cooper halves your outlets so not a true comparison. Show me a $13 dollar outlet that still has two power outlets and two USB ports and I'll buy.
