Expansys has the NewerTech Power2U AC USB Port Wall Outlet (NWTPWR2USB) for $23 with free shipping. Features smart power charger, auto-shut off when not in use, and safety shutters. Installs on 15-amp circuit.
Check the depth and the width in your electrical outlet box before purchasing this. Make sure you have AT LEAST 2.5" in width and 3 inches depth in back. Take into consideration the wiring in the box that may be blocking the outlet from going 3" inside. A 16 cubic inch box is the minimum, 20" is much better for this large receptacle.
I wish someone made one of these with a retractable usb cord for ipad/phone (wifes) or mini usb (my stuff). I would even put in a larger box to accommodate it. Anyone seen such an animal?
^^ Go to goodwill, get an old vac with a retractable cord mechanism, pull it out and mount in a separate wall box with the cord you want wound on it... or just plug a cord in this since it's less of a bother.
i don't think this item is a UL approved device. If that is the case, any fires caused by this device will result in your insurance company refusing to cover the cost of repairs. I would suggest you go to a local home improvement store; Home Depot, Menards, Lowe's, etc. I picked up a device similar to this for $18 at Menards. The only difference was that mine only has 1 A/C receptacle. There is also a $10-12 plug in outlet extension. It sits about an inch out from your original outlet and looks fairly natural.

No but I once saw a cat that looked to have a VGA cable attached to its tail....

Anyone know how many Amps the USB ports provide?

Did you bother to even look at the webpage? It plainly states that it is UL certified.
