TigerDirect.com has the new Newton Peripherals MoGo Wireless Bluetooth Mouse (Gray) for $40 + $7 shipping = $47 shipped. It stores and recharges in your notebook PC card slot (yes, it is super slim) for ultra portability and convenience. Here's a Video. [BizRate]

This was over $70 on newegg like 3-4 months ago. if i knew itd drop to this low, i'd never had bought that annoying MS Optical 3000.

woulda been perfect for me T60, which has bluetooth built-in, but my T40 woulda needed the usb dongle, which could be annoying too.

This is a great device, but I am holding out for the next generation that includes some type of click wheel functionality.

ExpressCard has largely replaced PCMCIA slots on new notebooks. But there's actually a new MoGo for ExpressCard54 slots on the way, and it even has a small touchpad that serves the function of a mousewheel. So... I suggest waiting for the MoGo X54 if you plan on replacing your old notebook in the near future.

Oh, and for those wondering, the MacBook and MacBook Pro don't have ExpressCard54 (or PC Card) slots, so you're out of luck.

I've tried this and it's a phenomenal product. However, it won't fit in the slot of my new laptop, so I'm waiting for the new generation.

    A great idea!

I'm more interested in the USB bluetooth adapter, which looks so snug it'd be virtually impossible to inadvertently damage. But yes, the mouse is pretty slick.
