I've been using mine for almost 2 years and banked close to 1500 miles with it. No issues with it getting wet and is a breeze to move to a new set of running shoes or simply remove it from your shoes if you need to run into the store on the way home from the gym, etc. since movemement of the Ipod sensor from walking drains the battery, even if you're not running unless you take it out of the pouch and push the button to turn it off ... or just remove it from the shoe and put it in your pocket.
