    very light and compact starter camera, it uses AA batteries, so.. its great for on a trip without worry run out of power. bought it for parents around this price 3months ago.. easy to use and hold. good price..

    How long does the batter last for? it seems like it would be a pain to always buy new batteries for your camera.

    I own one of these and actually I prefer cameras that take standard batteries. That way I don't have to buy some special battery when it goes bad. I buy lithiums and replace them 2 to 3 times a year so no fuss no muss. Plus if your lithium goes dead while your out and about you just go buy regular AA batteries to get you through the day. I think this camera has good picture quality and the video is really nice the only limit for time is the size of your SD card. And it is small enought to fit right in your pocket.

    When the L3 came out it was $130 after MIR. Great deal then, better deal now.

    Slow start-up time, which is a baconbreaker for the point-and-shooter. 3.2 seconds to startup. Steve's review has more:

    this is a great price for the pixels..however, the quality of the camera is cheap! very plastic, and close shots are POOR
