Anybody have any first hand experience with how well the image stabilization works for this camera? Based on the online reviews is not an actual mechanical adjustment so it sounds like it might not be all that great.
I've had a few Nikons and used a few belonging to friends and across the board they make crap point and shoots. You're much better off with a Canon.
I was considering buying this until I read the awful reviews.
i need a point-and-shoot for sports. canon has the "kids and pets" setting but not sports.
Which Canon are you looking at, No. 4? All of those I'm familiar with have a sports or action setting, but I can't claim extensive knowledge of their offerings.
#5, i have the powershot a530. all of the powershot A series don't have a sports mode listed as a pre-set. niether does the SD series. nikon and fujifilm have that setting though
Abes of Maine... bought a camera form them and they delayed my order to verify my credit card info on phone. Lame!!!
