Don't be fooled by the 6MP... this is a great camera with fantastic picture quality. HOWEVER, it's showing up as $489, not $380 now.

#2 is right. This deal is now expired. You had to be quick for that one.

For $489 you might as well pick up Oly Evolt 510.

Shows $480 for me as well. I would have gotten it for $380.

#6/#8 It seems like you are the one that thinks you are something.

Who cares if people use the Auto Setting?

      Sheeesh!

Uh, even if all they do is keep it on the "Auto" setting, the optics and image quality is going to be better than a compact P/S.

Anyway, it isn't $380 anymore (just checked), but by all means, keep clicking through for somebody's sake.

      It's not the 6MP I'm laughing at. It's:
"2.5fps" and "3 point AF" and other things.

Although the Pentax K2000/K-m is going to make things interesting by Christmas.
I see it's small body and two lens kit with flash dropping towards $500 not long after release, as typical with Pentax.

I bought 2 of them, 2nd though, I think I'm going to cancel it.Perhaps resell it? Make $100 profit then buy D60 instead?

was it even that good of a deal?? i bought a canon xti 10mp camera back in march.. for $420.. this doesn't seem that good of a deal esp when they're coming out with 12mp standard.. and just came out with 20mp dslr's .. expensive of course.
