Got to start pricing these out. Kid wants one for Christmas. SO far this looks to be the cheapest unless I go used.

Beware #4 - The kid probably is going to want the DSi. The latest and (so-called) greatest. AFAIK there are no games that fully utilize the new features (camera, browser, etc.). Forewarned is forearmed.

the DSi is only marginally better in terms of the size of the screen and thickness. I doubt the 0.3mp cam is that useful. And considering that you're losing the GBA cartridge slot, 2 hours of battery time and the price, I'd stick with the lite.

check your local Target for $99 on the DS Lite. Online is OOS, but they might be in stock again by the end of August.

Picked one up at a local store that was closing for $75 and a free case - games were 60% and new ones were 30%. I hope alot more of these vulture sales would happen. Nice to have a good paying job to be able to take advantage of these situations!

thank you #8, I won't mind having more of this little devices just for fun, but if local stores have better deal from time to time. I'd wait
