Ah...the DS. I totally got screwed when I got the original. I didn't hear anything from anyone about the Lite coming out. And then a month later it hit shelves. I am still loving the portability and the speed at which the game plays. It would be nice to have a slightly larger screen.

Tell my mom you want to get an extra controller for the Wii. Then when the DS shows up, show her how it is an extra controller and a stand alone system.
I also ordered one last week on the same deal and the status is still "Sent to warehouse."

These damned things are so addictive. My little 6 year old cousin had one and as soon as she let me play it I wasted away about 4 hours.
I'm going to order one so I can use it on the can. It loads right up and I can spend the next 100 times on the can trying to draw little trampolines to save all the marios...

DS Lite is very cool. The size is great but I think it could be a little bigger. The design is nice and clean. The screens are about as big as a a regular GameBoy SP or the original DS. It is a nice on-the-go gaming system and this is a good deal as well.

I have both the DS and PSP and find myself reaching for the DS more often. Like the Wii...it's just more fun.
