I just don't understand why "The DS Lite is one of the most popular and innovative (not to mention fun) portable gaming systems". I have it for around one month but I felt it's too old technology. even u insert the card need u reboot the system. And u can only play games on it (of cos it's game system by design), but noweverdays, every things are become powerful.

One more thing, this thing is mainly for kids , right? I once bought one for my wife, who likes playing small games. But on her way commute to office, she felt only kids will playing that around her.

#10, even though your username looks Irish, English must be your second language.

But your reasons for not liking the DS are crazy. Would you say basketball isn't fun because it's old technology? And the DS only takes about 2 seconds to boot, so why do you even care if you can't hot swap? I doubt you would be able to even switch discs in the PS3 that fast. To me, the psp is not fun, mainly because they focus on too many things other than gameplay.

Actually, if I read your post with a leprechaun accent, it almost makes sense. Are you a leprechaun?

#10, i guess it depends on your need. if u are looking for powerful technology, and want to "play" tech, u can spend more for a psp. if u are just looking for fun, and want to play fun games, ds lite is not a bad choice.
i agree with #9, brain age is cool and fun!

DS Lite sucks. Nintendo puts out 5-10 year old crapware with a gimmick attached and numbnuts continue to fall for it. I admit I was one of those retards that bought into Nintendo's "fun" hype. Then I got a PSP.... The PSP blows the DS out of the frickin' water. My DS Lite is going up on ebay as soon as I can get Nintendo to fix the cracked hinge on the POS.

    My 2 cents.
My 15 year old has PSP.My 12 year old has DS.They are both happy with each unit.
The PSP in my opinion is a POS.Almost everytime you get a new game, you have to download new firmware. If it glitches, and it will, sony will charge you $80 to fix it.Can't return the $50 game as it's opened.
If you don't believe me,read forums.Should be a lawsuit against sony on this.

right, right #16! how about this?

Honda sucks. Honda puts out 5-10 year old crapware with a gimmick attached and numbnuts continue to fall for it. I admit I was one of those retards that bought into Honda's "Economic" hype. Then I got a Ferrari.... The Ferrari blows the Honda out of the frickin' water. My Honda is going up on e/bay as soon as I can get Honda to fix the cracked window.

i guess your logic is always right! congratulations!!!

#13, I just did not get you. People like new technologies, right, and that's why our living world develops. For example, there are new phones came out every month, with better functions and technologies, XBOX 360 is replacing XBOX, we use LCD now more than CRT monitor, etc. All these makes our life better.

I know many people like DS lite, I just don't understand why people are so CRAZY about it. It still use such old technologies (like it does not use disc, or any kind of memory cards like today's main stream which is incompatible too).
