how is this a deal?

ben makes affiliate money off the clicks, this motivates him to find real deals to post, then we all win! That's the only way I can see this as a deal, because if you can walk into circuit city and find it for less, it doesn't count as a deal.

Why is this even mentioned? Anyone can go into their local Target, BestBuy, or wherever and get this off the shelf for $129.99. How is this, even stretching your imagination, a "bargain"?

It was sold out for a while. So if people wanted it and can't find it, rather than ebay or a reseller....

LOL, with tax it's $139 (in KY), so you're saving a $1, and maybe gas that you would have used to go get it.

i just got back from target and best buy, neither one had the DS, and didn't know when they are getting them. Bestbuy online is also sold out. So if you are like me, and trying to find one, this is a deal. Thanks Ben.

These are somewhat hard to find in certain areas - my brother was looking for one and couldn't find one anywhere in Chicago or some of the suburbs.

well these are out of stock at gogamer now too, so i guess it was a "deal" while it lasted.

I was able to get one at a target store for $129.99 in Walnut Crk, CA.

I've been looking for one in the King of Prussia area (PA) since before Christmas, and only JUST found one at Circuit City. Its not really available online, and finding it in a store has been a real crap shoot. Yes, I tried everywhere, online and otherwise.

I lucked out at CC tonight. If I hadn't, being able to order it for $138 would have been acceptable (and appreciated).

So, yeah, its not a great deal, but actually being able to GET it would've been worth it for me.
