Yes, it has to be pink. It's part of their Mother's Day promotion. I would have thought it was a mistake but there's a graphic that features the DSi prominently on their Mother's Day page so it doesn't appear to be something that just slipped through the cracks. I ordered one right away in case they have second thoughts.

@#6 - well the rez is the same, it's clunky, shoulder buttons cut into your hands and generally had bad reviews. Better to stick with a DSi, especially since they announced the DS3D is coming.

#6 - Personally, I prefer the smaller one. If you're going to make a less portable version of the DSi, why not go all the way and not half ass it with something that's marginally bigger? And then why would you announce an upcoming 3D version the same day you release the XL?
