weird, either the wii component cables i bought from buy.com a year or so ago just broke, or the component input for my 8 year old TV just broke, but until i figure that out, I'm holding off on buying another cheap set of wii component cables.
If you get this, make sure to change your Wii settings to component cable/480p.
