huge difference between these component cables and the regular composite. You will notice a sharper and cleaner picture almost immediately. The WII is still not on par with a 360 or PS3, but the progressive scan makes it actually look better than a 10 year old gamecube, which is nice.

does anyone know if this cable will work with the GameCube? Does it use the same connectors as the Wii for the digital A/V output?

Spend a bit more and get the Monster cable kit for the Wii. There is a huge difference in performance and picture quality, due to the superior technologies that Monster uses in their cables.

What a bunch of bs. Never get Monster cable, evil company and products that add no value to the market.

monster cable is marked about 500%. While true there can be a difference between cheaper HDMI and other video cables to there more expensive counter parts, but do not be fooled by the marketing of monster. Do a little research on whatever device you want to attach and see what kind of thickness and throughput you need then decide.

#11, yeah, I surfed around a bit, and even though it looked similar, it sounds like they use different connectors.
