WiiTracker.com (owned and operated by BensBargains) has several the Nintendo Wii Consoles listed as available currently, starting at $250 with free shipping. Grab it now before its out of stock. Also be careful with the controller, lest you injure yourself and wind up as Wii injury statistic.

Is this site really still necessary? The consoles are so easy to find nowadays.

We also don't care about the wii supply/demand games they are playing. Please don't contribute.

Relax people. He never said WiiTracker sells it, he said WiiTracker has it "listed as available". I got my Wii using WiiTracker. So should you.

I imagine now they'll have to make them easily available so they can sell off all their stock before they come out with WiHD.

I owned a Wii for over a year and found most of the games pretty boring. There were only a couple I ever played, and those were ports to the Wii from other consoles.

Still selling, but looks like the supply finally caught up with the demand.
Expect a price drop or new model by the end of the year.

All they need to do is add support for SDHC cards, & add standard rechargable batteries to the remotes to keep the price where it is. HD Video out (even 720p) would be enough to start the buying frenzy again.

Like #12 said, there are a couple relatively simple features that will help make the Wii more attractive to the HD gaming crowd.

I've heard reports (sorry, no links atm) that a more refined motion sensing Wii-mote is/was in development. This is a big feature for me since I've been less than impressed with the consistent accuracy of the controllers. My golf swing on Wii Sports is usually erratic... the same smooth motion is either 1/2 a bar ... or 2 bars into the 'wobbley' range...
