Buy.com with Barnes & Noble has the refurbished nook color Wi-Fi eBook Reader (BNRV200) for $139 with free shipping. Features a 7" color display with 16 million colors, Wi-Fi support, 8GB internal storage, and micro SD support.
But really, for a fooling-around color tablet and a decent e-reader, how much lower do you need prices to go? I bought a refurb last week for $10 more than this, rooted it to make a true Android tablet out of it and overclocked it. It works great and is a lot of fun. I honestly also like the 7-inch form factor -- it's like carrying around a steno tablet or a book.
Unlike the coming Kindle tablet, this one also has a memory card slot.
Rumor has it that the Nook Color 2 will be released November 7th and will likely be priced at $199.
Yeah. Definitely don't buy a tablet until the Kindle fire is released and the tablet pricing wars begin.

Excellent tablet at a terrific price.
You can make it boot Android natively, or you can leave it factory stock and boot Android from an SD card.
