So making a microwave look like an old radio makes it retro? I think the only thing retro is the power output of 800 watts. Humbug!
This is supposed to look like one of those art deco microwave ovens from the 1930's.
In the old days before television, we used to gather round the microwave and melt marshmallows on ritz crackers for entertainment! The most popular show was a ventriloquist who would re-heat his dummy on the popcorn setting! Now it's known as the 'Golden Age of Microwave'. Those magic memories!
